Chrissy Wilkin is a Maryland artist that concentrates in painting and drawing. Her work covers a diverse set of themes that relate to her personal narrative: family, travel, beauty, growth, transition, love, loss, and her battle with depression. She experiments with different mediums and styles, which further connect to the mood of the piece.

Wilkin achieved her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts in 2009 and her Master’s Degree in Art Education in 2011 from the University of Maryland. She is currently working as an art teacher at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. Wilkin has shown her work in cafes and galleries in the Maryland and DC area. Chrissy Wilkin also curates art for the New Deal Cafe.
